FUTURE INITIATIVES

 

• To offer understanding and support to individuals, family, friends, and care givers of the less-fortunate in the community at large.

 

• To offer information about education, housing and job availability.

 

• To support housing for the homeless by referring people to such agencies who assist.

 

• To raise funds to provide information and education through public donations, grants, fundraisers, sponsorships, and community assistance.

 

• To provide clothing, food, and furnishings in order to the less-fortunate to make their lives more bearable and sustainable.

 

• To provide community feedings during special holidays and events at the church and local areas.

 

• To provide clothing and other items to local and surrounding shelters to assist as a joint effort to aid the less-fortunate.

 

We are a volunteer-run, community-based, non-profit organization.

 

 Currently, we work with missions and shelters to provide clothing and other items to individuals. Also, we provide food, blankets, and coats to the homeless locally and in surrounding cities. For the past five months, we have served over 500 individuals with hot meals, clothing, or needed items.

 

 

 

Thanksgiving Day is our largest distribution time where we provide hot meals to many individuals. Each Sunday and during the week, individuals come to the church to fulfill a need which may include food, clothing, furnishings and etc. In an effort to keep active volunteers, we have recognition services to honor volunteers and community contributors who help those who are less-fortunate in the community.
